M.S. Akshar is the founder and CEO of Hasiru Farms — an agritech entrepreneur who has been building theme-based managed farmland near Bangalore since 2021. His work centres on one belief: farmland should have an identity and be cared for long after it is sold.
That belief is the thread through everything Hasiru does — it’s where the company came from, not a slogan added afterwards. In Akshar’s approach, an owner isn’t buying an idle plot to leave untended, but a place with a theme and a purpose that is managed and kept alive after the sale.
The Origin
Hasiru Farms began with a single acre and has grown since 2021 into a set of named, theme-based managed farmland projects. Hasiru is the Kannada word for green — and the early vision took shape across a 20-acre first phase.
That first phase spanned roughly 20 acres under the early Prakruthi and Parivaar work, and projects such as Mango Dew followed as the theme-based model developed.
